This package offers travelers an authentic and immersive 7 days of travel. You will experience the highlights of Thimphu, Paro, Punakha and Gangtey whilst meeting many locals along the way. Particular highlights include hiking to Tiger’s Nest, as well as visiting the stunning Gangtey Valley.

Detailed Itinerary
Welcome to the Kingdom of Bhutan! Your tour guide and driver be awaiting your arrival. It is a 1 hour drive to Thimphu. After checking in to your hotel, you will spend the remainder of the day exploring the city.
Today will be spent visiting some of Thimphu’s landmarks including Changangkha Lhakang and Simtokha Dzong. We will also visit the Folk Heritage Museum and the Royal Textile Academy. There will be time to shop in local markets and stores as well (refer to our pdf guide for our top recommendations).
After breakfast, we will head towards Punakha, the old capital city. We will make a pitstop at Dochula and visit its 108 chortens. We will also stop by Chimmi Lhakang and visit the beautiful Punakha Dzong.
Today we will make our way to the glacial valley of Phobjika, also known as Gangtey. Many consider this one of Bhutan’s most beautiful valleys. We will visit Gangtey Goemba and hike through the Gangtey Nature trail.
Today we will return to Thimphu. You will have time for shopping and buying souvenirs. There is also the option of going on a short hike. Later in the evening, you may visit a local bar or even go to a local club.
After breakfast, we will drive back to the airport for your departure flight. We bid you farewell and hope to see you again! Tashi Delek!
