This package offers travelers a brief yet authentic and immersive 4 days of travel. You will experience the highlights of Thimphu and Paro whilst meeting many locals along the way. The highlight of the trip will be a hike to one of Bhutan’s most sacred sites, Tiger’s Nest.

Detailed Itinerary
Welcome to the Kingdom of Bhutan! Your tour guide and driver be awaiting your arrival. It is a 1 hour drive to Thimphu. After checking in to your hotel, you will spend the remainder of the day exploring the city.
Today will be spent visiting some of Thimphu’s landmarks including Changangkha Lhakang and Simtokha Dzong. We will also visit the Folk Heritage Museum and the Royal Textile Academy. There will be time to shop in local markets and stores as well (refer to our pdf guide for our top recommendations).
Today we will return to Paro and visit important landmarks including Paro Dzong and Kyichu Lhakang. You will have time in the evening to explore Paro’s charming cafes, restaurants and boutiques.
Your final day will be dedicated to climbing Takstang, also known as Tiger’s Nest. This is one of Bhutan’s holiest and most culturally significant sites. Hiking to and back from the temple will take 4 – 6 hours. This is a truly stunning hike to a very special site.
After breakfast, we will drive back to the airport for your departure flight. We bid you farewell and hope to see you again! Tashi Delek!
